Responsibilities:
- Conversant with hands on RHEL OS, Windows 2016 OS
- Conversant with application server (websphere 9 administration).
- Domain knowledge of integrating online, file based integration concepts (MQ, SFTP, file encryption) in gov API framework.
- Familiar with enterprise architecture (3 tier architecture), up to 50 envs per site
- Familiar with operational processes
a) OS level patching
b) Application level patching
c) Operational housekeeping and archival. - Familiar with clustering technologies for active application file system
- Work in an operations mindset within a client that is 24/7. Though not required to be onsite 24/7, but upon notice, return to site asap to look at issues.
- Take ownership of one or two application product and its operational aspects of patching, application support etc. For example , able to setup a qliksense server in HA mode in PROD
Top 3 MUST have skills:
- Familiar with web applications/content management environment setting with content management ,multiple web applications
- Conversant with system administration across different technology stack (windows, rhel/solaris)
- Able to adopt an operations mindset.
Good to have skills (Optional)
- Administer WebSphere application server experience
- Familiar with Web application from end user interaction to backend (role of the sso, web server, app server , database and components supporting it)
Familiar with application setup and maintenance (patches , restart services etc)
